I think this was one of the first vampire movies I ever saw that showed an emotional side to a vampire. To me it seemed that their lives were so dark and dreadful. It did not romantizes the vampire like all those earlier movies. for me “Salems Lot” comes in a close second to this movie. Well done review. Thank you for sharing.
